Mojave Dunes SC Doodlebug

Dam: Mojave Dunes SBM Junebug

DOB: February

Doodlebug is a very stylish doeling. She is level, tall
and long bodied with that pretty black and white coloring. She
came into our herd just before Christmas from Mojave Dunes. Our
plans were to breed her and we did, in fact, have her bred but
she terminated her pregnancy very early, perhaps due to her
adjusting to being in new surroundings. Since we did not want a
bunch of June babies we have opted to keep her as a dry yearling
this year. Another one for our grandkids to choose from as a 4-H
project.

2. Nubilop
Acres Always A Lady

SS:
Stagelight LMO Princeton
Sire: Stagelight Palace Knight
SD: SGCH Stagelight RR Pukahani
DS: Nubilop Acres Passionate Lover
Dam: CH Nubilop Acres Stylish Lady
DD: Nubilop Acres Sensuous Lady
DOB: April 11, 2011 |
Always A Lady comes back to us thanks to Jean Baugh of Old Glory
Nubians. Lady is a very correct doeling with a level topline,
strong feet and legs, those long beautiful bell shaped ears and
another doeling with that nice open rounded escutcheon area.
Her dam was 12th place at the 2010 ADGA Nationals in 2010 as a
2-year-old. Lady’s sire, Palace Knight, is noted consistently
for improving mammary systems. We’re going to have to wait
another year to see her freshen as she is a little smaller than
I would like. Considering she was half the size of her brother
(our junior herdsire) when she was born she has done a lot of
growing, but we are simply going to give her some time to do
some more maturing. She will make a wonderful 4-H project for
our grandson as a dry yearling this next year.

There is something that catches my eye when I look at Frigga.
Perhaps it is her color because I love black Nubians. However, I
do not think that is the total reason. She is a very correct
doeling, a beautiful front end, smoothly blended, level topline
and a high and rounded escutcheon area. Since she is a smaller doe
and a mid May kid she will be held over as a dry yearling giving
her a chance to mature.

Annie is another beautiful doe we brought back with us from
Marshall Losey of Sagebrush. As far as I am concerned Annie and
Flirt are very similar in style, both sharing the same sire.
Even though Annie is a May kid from this year, I feel that she
will be big enough to breed. In the event she is not when it
comes breeding time we will hold her over as a dry yearling.
She has a very sweet disposition and is a very correct doeling,
again with a very promising pedigree behind her. One of the old
herdsires that appears in Annie’s pedigree that goes back into
our lines from many years ago is SGCH Kismet Marvins Smooth
Operator.
